Individual Tickets on Sale May 29th!

We are excited to announce that 3113 has been accepted to the Los Angeles Film Festival.  It is an extreme honor to be accepted to such a prestigious festival with an outstanding program.  They will be holding the world premiere of Woody Allen's new film To Rome With Love starring Alec Baldwin, Penélope Cruz, Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page.  Along with Steven Soderbergh’s latest film Magic Mike starring Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Olivia Munn, and Kevin Nash.

Last year there was an attendance of 75,000 festival goers and the guest director was none other than Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth).  This year will include guest speakers like music composer Danny Elfman (Edward Scissorhands), and cast members from AMC's Breaking Bad.  It has just been added to hold the World Premiere of Disney Pixars Brave.  There is an ensemble of great films, top stars, talented filmmakers, special events, all to make for a spectacular festival.  We cannot wait to attend and be apart of such a wonderful cinematic event!

Passes for the festival are available now.  Individual tickets for 3113 go on sale May 29th here or through the LA Film Fest website.  It will be showing Friday, June 15th at 11pm & Monday, June 18th at 10:10pm at the Regal Cinema at LA Live in Downtown LA. It will premiere in front of the feature film Juan of the Dead so go get your tickets before they sell out!  Come support 3113 and join in on all of the fun! Hope to see you all there.

3113 on CGSociety

"Eric Demeusy’s new sci-fi short '3113', two years in the making, will soon be screening at festivals."

We are honored that CGSociety has chosen to publish a behind-the-scenes article about the process of making 3113.  In the final stages of post-production, producer/AD Kyle McIntyre reached out to the people at Maxon Cinema 4D in hopes of a mutual collaboration in efforts to promote the film.  Much to our surprise they have gone above and beyond our expectations.  From generously supporting our Kickstarter fundraising site to putting us in the hands of their PR representative Meleah Maynard which spawned this in depth article.

The article covers everything from the filming process to the software used to create the film.  It also includes 6 never before seen images from the film.  You can read about the techniques used to create the visual effects on a low budget.  Learn how android 3113's spacesuit was made and much more.  Ok, enough about the article, read it here

Official 3113 Poster

The official 3113 Poster is here!  It has been talked about on 3113's Kickstarter page for a while and now you can see the actual poster here in full.  It takes on a very graphical and minimalist style which captures the mysterious tone of the film.  It is designed by artist Lloyd Stas who is known for his Edgar Wright poster series.

Most recently Lloyd has done posters for such great films as Duncan Jones' Source Code and artshow contributions for Twin Peaks and Fargo.  You can check out Stas' work on his website www.lloydstas.co.uk and his Flickr photostream.  You can also follow him on Twitter @lloydstas.  Full size prints are available on 3113's Kickstarter page until Jan. 2nd.  Prints will be available here through the website at a later date.
